Hill number 7

Basically, I feel like posting a picture of my hometown, so I will.



Landscape photography is one of my hobbies, especially night pictures. I should really get a better camera for it! I currently use an Olympus X-2. I have to play with the settings to get exacltly what I want. Another odd thing about my hobby is that I don't use a camera stand. This particular picture was taken by balancing the camera in a tree. I should break down and buy a tripod, but, without one I end up with pictures that other people don't take. On the downside, the reason that other people don't take pictures in this was is that it takes forever to set up a shot.

I want one of those cameras with a big pretty lens. I doubt I would know what to do with it. But, I want it none the less. Perhaps I should take a class and learn what do do with it. (I have a feeling the answer to that question is, "tear an unhealthy hole in your wallet." But I like my pictures than the ones on the bills. All those faces are too serious!)
